Registration for SNAP 2026 runs from August 21 to November 25, 2026, on the official portal, snaptest.org. Keep these ready before you begin.

- A scanned signature
- Valid ID proof, PAN card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar

Stage 1: Before the SNAP Exam Fee Payment
During initial sign-up, you only fill out your core identity details, enough to create your profile and secure your exam slot. Nothing about your academics or programme choices happens here yet.
- Basic profile. Full name, date of birth, mobile number, category, and email ID
- Test preferences. Number of test slots you want, up to 3, and your preferred exam cities
- Photo upload. A recent passport-size photograph
- SNAP fee payment. The core test fee, ₹2,550 per attempt
This is also the stage where your details lock in the ways that matter most. Name, date of birth, category, and test city preference generally can't be changed after this point, so double-check every field before moving forward.
Stage 2: After the SNAP Exam Fee Payment
Once your Stage 1 payment goes through, the portal unlocks the rest of the application. This is where the actual academic and programme-specific details come in, and where a second, separate fee shows up.
- Academic qualifications. Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation percentages or grades
- Work experience. Full-time professional history, if applicable
- Programme selection. Choosing specific Symbiosis institutes and MBA courses you want to apply to
- Programme fee payment. A separate ₹1,000 fee per programme you select
This second fee is the detail most first-time applicants miss. Paying your SNAP test fee in Stage 1 gets you a test slot. It does not register you for any specific institute or course, that's Stage 2, and it costs extra, per programme, on top of the test fee.
Why the Two-Stage Structure Matters
Budget for both fees before you start, not just the ₹2,550 headline number. If you're applying to multiple SIU programmes, each one adds another ₹1,000, and that total can add up faster than the test fee alone suggests.
