Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to all 17 Symbiosis MBA institutes. It is one of India's most speed-intensive MBA entrance exams — 60 questions in exactly 60 minutes, with no sectional time limits.
Vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms, analogies), grammar, fill in the blanks, idioms and one-word substitution. SNAP English does not have RC passages — making it primarily vocabulary and grammar focused. Speed and vocabulary depth are the key differentiators in this section.
The highest-weightage section. Blood relations, directions, syllogisms, coding-decoding, clocks, series, critical reasoning, and puzzles. SNAP LR is more straightforward than CAT DILR — but 25 questions in a 60-minute total means pattern familiarity and speed are critical to topping this section.
Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, number systems, data interpretation, and data sufficiency. SNAP Quant is easier than CAT QA — moderate difficulty, straightforward DI sets. The focus is on quick calculations and avoiding silly errors rather than complex problem-solving.
Unlike CAT, SNAP has no fixed section timings — you can move freely between all three sections within the 60-minute window. GRADSKOOL trains you to exploit this by starting with your strongest section, banking marks early, and managing time across all three for maximum score.
SNAP Eligibility Criteria
SNAP has straightforward eligibility — a graduate with 50% from a recognised university can apply. Final year students are also eligible.
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Minimum 50% marks in graduation is required for most SIU institutes — check individual institute criteria before applying.
Students in the final year of graduation can apply. Provisional admission is allowed — degree must be completed before joining. Most SIU institutes require minimum 50% in graduation at the time of final admission.
SNAP has no upper or lower age limit. Fresh graduates form a large part of SNAP admits. Working professionals also appear — experience adds value in the GE-PI round at SIBM Pune and SCMHRD but is not mandatory.
SNAP allows up to 3 attempts per year — conducted across 3 dates in December. No-shows do not count as attempts. Best score out of all attempts is considered. This makes SNAP one of the most retake-friendly exams in India.
SNAP registration fee is ₹2,250 per attempt. Each Symbiosis college requires a separate application fee of ₹1,000 per college. Apply to all target SIU institutes through the SNAP portal at snaptest.org during registration.
Not mandatory for appearing in SNAP or for most SIU institutes. Fresh graduates form the majority of SNAP admits. Work experience adds value during the GE-PI round at SIBM Pune and SCMHRD — a strong SNAP score and academics can compensate.
SNAP Important Dates
SNAP is conducted 3 times in December. Registration opens in August — apply early and book all 3 test dates at once.
SNAP dates are expected based on 2025 patterns (Dec 6, 14 & 20 in 2025). Official dates released at snaptest.org in August. Strategy: attempt all 3 tests — your best score counts and no-shows don't penalise you.
Top Colleges Accepting SNAP
SNAP scores are accepted exclusively by all 17 Symbiosis International University (SIU) institutes. Below are the most targeted — with actual cutoffs and placement data.
Cutoffs below are typical shortlist percentiles for General category — not official minimums. Final SIU merit uses: SNAP score (50%) + GE-PI-WAT (30%) + Academics (20%). Clearing the SNAP cutoff is the first step — the GE-PI round decides final admission.
Cutoff percentiles from SNAP 2025 trends (General category). SIBM Pune average package ₹23.71 LPA from official 2025 placement report. SNAP score carries 50% weight in final SIU merit. All figures indicative — verify on official institute websites before applying.

Two-way live class building speed and accuracy across all three sections. The no-sectional-time-limit strategy is drilled from day one — you practise which section to start with and when to switch.

12 sectional tests followed by 20 full-length SNAP-pattern mocks. Each mock simulates real SNAP — 60 minutes, 60 questions, no sectional limits, −0.25 negative marking.
Every mock followed by a detailed breakdown — time per question, section-wise accuracy, skip vs wrong balance, and score vs percentile mapping. Target: 42+ marks for SIBM Pune.

What Students Say
GRADSKOOL really helped me improve my confidence, communication, and overall readiness for the NMIMS interview. In just one week I was able to get ready — that kind of rapid preparation is only possible with the right structure and the right people guiding you. The GD-PI sessions were sharp, focused, and built exactly around what NMIMS looks for. Highly recommend to anyone appearing for B-school interviews.
The preparation phase was quite demanding — balancing studies alongside a full-time job was challenging. But the mentorship of Abhishek Sir made a significant difference. The GDPI guidance from the GRADSKOOL team, in particular, was instrumental in building my confidence and helped me develop a clear, structured approach to articulate my responses. Having someone in your corner who understands both the exam and what it takes to prepare under real-world constraints is something you can't put a price on.
GRADSKOOL has built something truly impactful. The clarity of vision, the structured approach to learning, and the focus on real student outcomes make it stand out from everything else available. A special acknowledgment to Abhishek Leela Pandey — his dedication, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of student needs are clearly reflected in everything GRADSKOOL offers. His ability to design systems that not only teach concepts but also improve performance is commendable. It's inspiring to see a platform so committed to quality education and student success. I'm confident GRADSKOOL will continue to grow and help countless aspirants achieve their goals.
